01Why Mpyr

You shouldn't dread having a website built.

You know you need a better web presence. You've been quoted $8,000 by an agency and $200 on Fiverr — neither felt right. You don't have time for a six-week process with wireframes and revision rounds. Mpyr Design exists to make this painless.

×

The agency quoted you $8,000 and asked for a "discovery workshop."

You don't need a workshop. You need a working website that says what you do and gets the phone ringing.

×

The Fiverr designer delivered something — but it doesn't feel like your business.

Generic templates look generic to your customers, too. Your competitors are using the same one.

×

Your DIY site has been "almost done" for two years.

You're a business owner, not a webmaster. Every hour you spend in Squarespace is an hour off the floor.

×

You don't speak SEO, CMS, SaaS, or any of the rest of it.

You shouldn't have to. I translate. You get a site, hosting, email, and a phone number to call when something needs to change.

02How it works

Three steps. Two weeks, give or take.

No project management software. No Slack channel. No nightly status reports. You talk to me, I build it, and we put it live.

1 We talk

A real phone call.

20–30 minutes about your business — what you sell, who you sell to, what would make the phone ring. No intake form. No 47-question brief. Just a conversation between two business owners.

Day 1~30 minutes
2 I build

A polished draft.

You'll see a working site — not a wireframe, not a mood board — with real copy I've written for your business. You review it. We adjust. Then it goes live.

Days 2–107–10 business days
3 You're live

Hosting on. Phone in hand.

The site is published, hosting handled, email working, Google profile set up. You have my number for changes. That's it. That's the deliverable.

03Packages

Fixed pricing. Written down. No "contact for a quote."

Three packages. Pick the one that fits. The middle option covers most small businesses — that's why most people choose it.

05About

A business owner who happens to build websites.

I've been the small business owner on the other side of the table from a web designer. I've signed the contract, sent the deposit, and stared at a draft that didn't sound like anything I'd say.

Mpyr Design exists because the businesses I most respect — the cleaners, the contractors, the landscapers, the studio owners — don't need a six-week brand exploration. They need a clean, confident, working website and someone to call when the phone number on it changes.

I've spent the last 25 years running restaurants, a financial services firm, a commercial cleaning company, and a technology business. I know what's actually keeping you up at night, and it isn't whether your hero section uses a serif or a sans.

06What clients say

Plain talk. No five-star theatrics.

Brendan turned around a real, working site in nine days — and it actually reads like our business. I'd talked to two other people who wanted to put me through a "discovery phase." This was the first conversation that felt like business, not a sales pitch.
DM Daniel M.
Owner — Commercial cleaning, St. Louis
I'd had a Squarespace site I never finished for two years. Mpyr took one phone call, asked the right questions, and a week later I had something I wasn't embarrassed to send to a referral. That's the whole story.

07Common questions

The honest answers.

That's most of the work, and that's why we start with a call. I'll ask you the same questions a customer would ask, write down your answers, and turn them into the copy on your site. You don't need to come prepared.
Basic booking links, contact forms, and simple integrations — yes, included. Full e-commerce stores and custom apps are outside the packages; if that's what you need, I'll tell you on the call and point you to someone who specializes.
We'll use what you have. I'll handle the DNS and email migration. No need to switch anything you don't want to switch.
Call or text. Small changes (a price, a photo, a phone number) are part of the Monthly Care Plan — up to 30 minutes a month, rolled over if you don't use it. Bigger work is quoted up front, fixed price.
Yes. Most of the work happens over the phone and by email anyway. I'm based in St. Louis, but I've worked with clients across the country. The first call is the same wherever you are.
Small business sites have far more in common than they have differences. Fixed pricing means you know what you're spending before you commit, and I'm motivated to deliver well instead of running up the meter. If a project genuinely needs more than the packages cover, I'll tell you on the call.
08Where I'm based

St. Louis-based. Working with businesses anywhere.

Local presence matters when it matters. For St. Louis-area clients, that means in-person meetings if you want them, on-site photos when a project calls for it, and showing up where you do business. For everyone else, we'll do the whole thing by phone.

09Get in touch

The fastest way is a phone call.

Pick up the phone. We'll talk for 20 minutes, I'll know if I can help, and you'll know if it's worth going further. If you'd rather write first, the form below works too.

Tell me your name.
Business name (optional but helpful).
A phone we can reach you at.
A working email address.
A sentence or two is plenty.

Got it. I'll call you back today.

Watch for a call from a St. Louis number. If you want to skip the wait, dial (314) 409-5808.
